As a part of Cognitive Ergonomics course in Semester II, the controls and display of interactive kiosks have been studied. The main ares of focus being usability and learnability. To apply the learnings from the course, an interactive listening kiosk is chosen. The inspiration to choose the music domain is the hypothesis that stealing music is more easier than buying. So an anticipation that if the kiosk is designed with appropriate interface design and usability principles, the act of buying music can be made more convenient.
